Ancient's Gate Showcase Special 11: Hapshut

Hapshut is one of the best slash writers I’ve known since discovering the genre. Her storytelling is tight, layered, and always entertaining. I once hosted her stories on ‘The Edge’, which sadly is now long gone. Just before the site shut down, however, Hapshut pulled her stories from the web. She’s given me permission now though to pull them together in a zine and I can’t thank her enough for the honor. Lori is an amazing writer, her stories full of rich depth and detail and, best of all, the deep friendship and team caring that characterized this show (especially in the earluer seasons). Lady Grey - Het - Showcase 18

This is one of the few rare times I’ll be publishing het…especially Sam/Jack. Be aware, however, that the first two stories in this volume are not the usual variety of S/J stories. As LG herself explains in the warnings for Love. Honor. Cherish. that story can be considered very much anti-S/J. There is no happy ending there.  In The Scent of Violets, there are allusions to deeper feelings, but, again, no happy ending. Crown of Janus is Daniel/Vala and, it must be said, there is far more likelihood of future happiness, and far more sex. ;)
